Once someone visiting the courtyard told me that my kids reminded them of some feral fairies or something, just so dirty, shins beat up and hair tangled into terrible knots, and yet so dainty and darling, usually wearing dress up dresses and carrying wands. Initially hearing the word FERAL seems harsh but then I think about it and they really are 🤣 just two wild little girls soaking up every last bit of every single day, living life to the fullest with their friends, growing up, at least for a little while, under the California sun. So much will change in the next few months. Friends will move out, the seasons will change, our lives will shift and soon Azalea will be in school (💔) childhood is a vapor, one I am fine with them soaking up every last drop of. Anyways, I'm happy my kids are dirty and a little bruised up, some baby teeth might have a few little chips 🙈 and their hair is a labor or love to keep attached to their heads, but it all means they are out there, LIVIN IT UP. Every baby girls dream. 💕 Also sometimes you just need a blueberry waffle break in the middle of the day.
